Unless the Sens pull a shocker while missing 3 of their top 4 and Caps are in the mood to "keep momentum going" or something this weekend, Boston is probably taking 2nd spot in the Atlantic.

Best case scenario at this point, unless Boston somehow manage to drop points, is if the Pens win and Blue Jackets lose tonight so neither has anything to play for this weekend to give the Leafs a good chance to take 2 of their final 3 to give them at least 97 points, leaving the Sens needing to win their final two games in regulation or OT to have any chance of passing the Leafs.

He'll probably get the rest of the season, and then the league will pat itself on the back (and the Bruins will bitch) for the harsh consequence of maybe possibly costing the Bruins a home game in the first series of the playoffs.

Two NHL debuts tonight in Columbus for Winnipeg. Local Columbus kid Jack Roslovic. Nice touch - the Jackets announcers interviewed him while sitting in his parents seats (Season ticket holders since the team debuted).

The other one is Mike Comrie's little brother Eric, a goalie. And so far he is proving that despite the mountains of evidence from years past, the Comrie family DID produce a good hockey player.

Jets are currently nut-punching the Jackets 3-1.

Jets just went up 5-3, Mount Tortorella looks like it's about to go off on the bench and he's responded by benching Nick Foligno.

Foligno has a goal in the game - and was taken off the line with Saad and Wennberg who have 4 points combined tonight. Foigno's new linemates, Dubinsky and Atkinson are a -7 in the last two games. And neither one of them is missing any shifts.



Well, it was fun while it lasted. Suprised it lasted this long, honestly.
