Koskinen vs. Rittich is the goaltending duel in Calgary tonight.

Draisaitl better keep his head on a swivel for the rest of tonight.

Okay, it's open season on McDavid if the Oilers are going to take liberties with the top players on the Flames.

Geez, the Oilers have a bunch of meatheads on their team - Kassian, Lucic, Leon 'I can't do anything without Connor' Draisaitl.

Get rid of Dave Cameron, still a terrible Flames PP.

Big save Dave kept the Flames in this game and now they have the lead.

It's great to see all that smiling and laughing on the Oilers bench turn into delicious tears.

Karlsson got his 1st goal for the Sharks last night. 4 points in 2 games I believe. I think he's found his mojo.

Dear NHL Center Ice,

Why would the Montreal Canadiens / Vancouver Canucks game be blacked out in Baltimore, MD?

Warm regards,
Comeds

It was the NHL Network Saturday night game this week. When NHL Network shows a game, Center Ice blacks it out everywhere

NHL Network seems to be picking up a HNIC game every Saturday. Usually Toronto so far, but the Leafs did not play Saturday.

This Sabres team has me confused. They're at the 1/4 mark and have a winning record and have won 5 straight. Am I allowed to be excited? When does the inevitable heartbreak set in?

The Sabres have a great young core. They might not make the playoffs this year but they look good to me. If they could add some scoring depth on the wings I think they'd be in the playoffs this year.

Might not be a popular position with Sabres fans but I think Risto is kind of overrated (still a good player). I'd look to trade him for a blue chip young winger.

I doubt they do that. I think he's generally a 2nd-pairing caliber guy who has occasional stretches of 1st-pairing play. Why I don't think they move him is because he's on a fairly-friendly contract and they don't have a ton of depth at D for when the inevitable injuries set in.

They're also sitting on either two or three 1st round picks next year (STL is top 10 protected, which appears quite possible, and SJ is only non-playoff protected, which looks unlikely), so I think they'll push through this year with what they have and probably use those firsts on wingers.

I doubt they do it too. Probably best to just play the long game. I've just kind of soured on Risto (was a big fan when he came into the league) and would try to sell high.
