Kinda different - Leafs played 2 days later, and the flight from St. Louis to Toronto is less than 2 hours long.

Agreed, I guess all I was trying to say was I could see both courses of action, and there is no point speculating when the team's travel should be easily verifiable.

Even counting the salaries they have posted seems to come up to 49 so

but canucks signed Mike Zalewski yesterday and generalfanager isnt showing it

His name's there (bottom of the NHL forwards list), so maybe they just didn't update the # of contracts tally.

Flames are bottom 5 in points, yet thanks to a crappy division and games-in-hand think they are still in the playoff chase. I never root for losses, but there's some good Finnish forwards available in the entry draft.

Im seeing things from a different perspective this year. I used to think it was so hard to leapfrog teams to move up the standing late in the season ... seems like its equally hard to leapfrog teams downwards as well lol

No confirmation that this is legit, but I do know Swift Air is the charter service the Hawks use.

Of course, Kane could also have just asked Joel Q for an extra day off and flown back commercial in time for practice on Monday.

Just my two cents, but in the future I think it would be best to refrain from posting articles of this nature where the origin is dubious. Lest we forget, certain people in the NHL have been known to launch lawsuits claiming character defamation for these types of articles.
