All the Ducks need to do now is acquire Burrows. Man, quite the collection of characters they are assembling on that squad.

Actually, I'm mistaken, they also need to pry Antoine Roussel out of Dallas, I know he's one of esls' favo(u)rites.

I appreciate the fact that they are taking pity and not making us face an NHL lineup out of the gate.

The Ducks have the number one penalty kill in the league - pretty sure they'll get plenty of more chances to use it with the line up they've got now.

Bob Murray had me questioning the Perron trade not so much for the players involved but for upping the douchiness quotient of the Ducks. Now he's gone and totally redeemed himself by making me forget that Perron is a total douche by bringing in and asshat like Garbutt.

So, who will the Ducks be trading to St. Louis for Steve Ott? Maybe they can coax Bryan Marchment out of retirement.

Rangers signed Daniel Paille, he's traveling with the team, but no word if he'll play in Carolina. Could help us on the PK, but that's about it

woah ... did she go to the police?

No, her reasoning looked pretty much on par with most victims: knew no one would believe her, blamed self, etc. The quote in there about power/money is...chilling. "People like Patrick Kane, Evander Kane, Mike Ribero-they have the money and power to get away with these things." What's equally chilling in her description is his mannerisms. That's like criminal minds predatory shit.

Weirdly that's what rings most true to me. She describes him like he's a guy who is confident he'll get away with whatever he wants.
