I'd say he's the most deserving player in the league at the moment to have never won save Iginla.

I'll throw Jagr in that mix too just because it's been a lesser-man's career and a half since he won it.

I never saw anything about him "not liking it there", but there is simply no way the Rangers can afford him (Coyotes are paying half his salary right now) and that's why he's likely a goner.

Having said that, the Rangers are in a playoff race and Yandle is their highest-scoring defenceman, which is rather astonishing considering he takes more shots than any other d-man and only has two goals to show for it. Trade him and production from the blue-line becomes non-existent past McD. Doesn't make much sense to move him, even if you're losing him for nothing in July.

I still think he is going to be moved.

It's certainly possible, but then what the hell is the point of locking up one of the game's best d-men (MacD), scorers (Nash) and goalers long-term when you aren't going to do what you have to do to contend?

Rags made their bed when they decided to trade every first rounder for a quarter-century for win-now players. To go back on that now just puts the team in a permanent static state not unlike the Isles.
