HNIC just said PK is doing really well tonight against the best player in the world. Who is that?

Wow Markov, awful play then he looked a thousand years old.

What's it going to take for the Habs to make changes? They are awful.

I gotta be honest. I was pretty angry and thought it might ruin my night but then I took a shower and saw the Mrs's Caress Daily Silk (white peach and orange blossom formula) and I gave it a try. Wow, my skin is soft my but not oily. It's great! My mood has recovered.

Jim Hughson: "Why couldn't it have been the Sedins on that 3-on-1?"

Hughson has the pom-poms out early tonight.

Well, rumor is, Yandle has no intentions os remaining a Ranger and discussing an extension. He apparently doesn't like it here. Saw this coming from a mile aeay. May as well trade him to Boston now so he can sign there. I at least hope we get a first-round pick+ for him in return.

I never saw anything about him "not liking it there", but there is simply no way the Rangers can afford him (Coyotes are paying half his salary right now) and that's why he's likely a goner.

Having said that, the Rangers are in a playoff race and Yandle is their highest-scoring defenceman, which is rather astonishing considering he takes more shots than any other d-man and only has two goals to show for it. Trade him and production from the blue-line becomes non-existent past McD. Doesn't make much sense to move him, even if you're losing him for nothing in July.

It's funny how pundits basically ignore the fact that teams that are in playoff races are very unlikely to trade pending UFA's. Guess if the rumours go away they have nothing to talk about. I heard someone on SN radio the other day talk about how the Kings may wind up trading Kopitar and not one person in the convo said "why would one of the best teams in the league trade a "rental" player when they're likely to be in the market for rental players themselves?". They contravene their own logic.

If this is in reference to the ENG, man that was bad. He just gave up. I know it's probably fruitless if he dives and prevents a goal with 10 seconds left, but man some effort makes you feel a bit better about it.

The Kopitar situation in L.A. is going to be interesting. Do they keep him or use the money they'd pay him to get cheaper players?

Lol yep. Hook him down and have a goal awarded. Do anything but slowly skate behind him.

Check out the Penguins home page:

Pittsburgh Penguins for the three impressions of of the Pens/Habs game. That image (you will catch it pretty easily) must sum up the Habs fans feelings of recent times.

The last time I saw a French Canadian give that kind of salute was the late great Pierre Elliotte Trudeau was he was in Salmon Arm, BC addressing some adoring fans.
