Getting scrubs like Toews off would be a start
Milestone watch: Ovechkin's next point is his 1000th. Next game tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh and Crosby.
The fuck?? Implications that Toews is a Top 100 player of all time?
On another note, I really enjoyed this (and yes I did send it to my son):

Certainly looks that way, doesn't it.
In ability to secure desirable trim, which incidentally is another often overlooked intangible, Toews easily cracks the top 100. Intangibles matter. The fuck?? Implications that Toews is a Top 100 player of all time?
Intangibles matter.
Vomited in my mouth a little.
It's incredible how people gush over Toews but if you look at a guy in his draft class, Backstrom, another defensively reliable center who scores at a higher pace, has almost 100 more hits, TWICE AS MANY blocked shots and similar takeaway numbers and gets no love because he hasn't won an "intangible" cup.
I think he's the only one with a regular NHL job on the list save Lehtonen.Who does everyone think is the best goalie on that list? I think its clearly Cam Ward. He is one of the better goalies in the NHL.
Playoffs matter.Vomited in my mouth a little.

I was speaking about his comparison of Backstrom to Toews.Maybe, but they shouldn't. Not in this type of list.
I am with @Duke of Douchington on this one, Toews should not be on this list.

To Ward's credit, he's been pretty decent this year. Re-signing him wasn't as big a blunder as we all thought last summer.

I don't personally think Toews is one of the 100 best NHL players of all time but I do understand why a top centre who has 3 rings, a Conn Smythe and a Selke all by the age of 27 while averaging around 70 pts a year might garner that kind of respect among whoever voted in this list.
