Those Jets jerseys back in the 80's where awesome. Speaking of awesome jerseys the Devils are rumored to be changing theirs. That's to bad as I've always liked theirs.

I hate the idea of changing uniforms, ABSOLUTELY opposed to changing the logo.

Any word on what the change is? Whole new logo, or just a new color scheme? Or maybe an old one like the red and green?

What's the asking price for Duchene these days? Trade for that guy, move Camm and Parenteau for what you can, sign Shattenkirk in the off season, that's my wish list.

Zacha and a first. Unless they go all Avalanche, then maybe they can get away with McLeod and a second. Who the hell knows with that team.

Doubt you're getting anything for those two. Cammy has two more expensive years left (and the Devils could kinda use his production, no?) and Parenteau is having about the same kinda season as last year when the Leafs couldn't flip him for anything more than a 4th rounder and held onto him anyway.

I really want Shats on the Leafs but he's got tri-state written all over him, doesn't he. Might have a good chance on this one unless the Rangers go all Rangers and out-Ranger everybody.

I'm kind of surprised Hartman, Panik, Anisimov and Breadman didn't make it for the Central. We need expanded rosters I think.

Trying to look at this from a brighter side - he won 2 games for the moribund Jackets last season. That's more wins than the Leafs have from goalies not named Andersen so far this season.

I will say this about Mac, he is a great teammate. Never once bitched about the split load and (at least according to the guys at the practice rink) he'd stay as long as anyone wanted to work on anything on the ice. He would come in and skate with injured guys too. Let them take shots until they were satisfied.

He's capable. But the issue here was he is as close to a stand up goalie as there is in the league right now. He is all positioning and angles, waiting for the play to come to him. And he was just too far away from what Bob is like (hybrid style, very aggressive). Seems the front office saw that they have to play too differently when he is in, or that the flow style the Jackets are playing exposes Mac's weaknesses.

Plus they have two solid kids who are much closer to Bob's style that deserve their shot. He was odd man out.
