I can't say anything because the Leafs are doing the same thing with Andersen but there was quite the dialogue last night among Toronto-based reporters wondering just how in the holy hell Shortside has an NHL gig in 2017. He's been bad since forever. This one's on Chia.

It's possible he got the concussion on the initial hit because their heads collided, which left McCabe looking a little worse-for-wear too - though clearly not as bad as Laine. Laine almost looked like he was out already as he was going down.
