So I saw on the ticker that the Pens have assigned Daniel Sprong back to junior - Wasn't one of Rutherford's biggest complaints about Mike Johnston regarding Sprong not getting enough playing time? Something doesn't quite add up here.

Never really understood why they kept him after 9 games. It was pretty clear to me that the kid could use another year in junior. Seemed like a weird decision.

Congratulations Kenny, I typed almost the exact same thing and decided against posting it. It's an incredibly rare occasion when someone crosses a line that I won't, you should definitely celebrate.

I also had a comment about an estimated 8:52 puck drop before I saw that the game tonight isn't in Montreal. They'll have to save that for next weekend I guess.

Kings got clown-stomped by the Leafs tonight.
Watched only part of the game but had these observations:

1. Komarov has 13 goals and he works for them; I can't help but like him
   
2. I shouldn't have finally benched Kadri.
3. For a guy who everybody talks about Norrises, Drew Doughty sure gets walked a lot. At least he delivers elite offense. Oh wait. I know he has gone postal on the playoffs but every time I watch him he underwhelms. Must just be me but give me Keith, Karlsson, Subban. etc anyday.

Agreed. And I think being in the Kings system may shadow some defensive issues.
