History is all there is until new history is written. You're the one who posted that cocky BS "get ready to get fucked up". I say, Caps have a LOT to prove come playoff time or its just ANOTHER great regular season
On the plus side, I could see Garth Snow doing a lot of crazy shit this summer so that'll be fun. Wouldn't shock me if Ryan Miller wound up there, you've gotta think he's going to finally get a star winger to play with JT, Hamonic needs to be dealt with, Nielsen is a UFA as well...should be fun.
Washington was eliminated last night. They're quickly becoming like Detroit of the mid 90's. Good regular season team that can't do anything in the playoffs.
Not much new about a second round Caps exit.oh well Caps fans, new history is written, and it isn't good
I do like how Lucas didn't even mention the Oilers, however
I knew this would crash and burn and cause a firestorm.
lol - I actually lived and worked in Atlanta for a year and a half and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's a pretty neat city with lots of things to do, Buckhead has a lot of cool restaurants and nightclubs and loved heading down to Savannah as well. Besides, if it wasn't for Atlanta, we wouldn't have the Flames.
It's too bad the Thrashers couldn't rid themselves of GM Don Waddell, he was the main reason that team continued to flounder and eventually the fans stopped showing up as they realized no progress was being made.
It's too bad about the entire ownership of the Thrashers as well.
Now I'm stuck with the Atlanta Gladiators in the ECHL, where the last game I went to about 2 months ago consisted of the same Center getting TWO breakaways only to slip on both accounts, getting not one shot on goal.
