I think the Canucks want a do-over on this one, Forsling look great at the recent World Junior tourney.

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks and 19-year-old defenseman Gustav Forsling have agreed to a three-year contract.

The Blackhawks announced the contract Wednesday.

Forsling had six goals and 15 assists in 48 games last season for Linkoping HC in the Swedish Hockey League. He was selected by Vancouver in the fifth round of the 2014 draft, and traded to Chicago in January 2015 for defenseman
Adam Clendening.

I still find it crazy that the Canadians had zero teams in the playoffs, where as Nashville and two Florida teams made it, two of those are still in it. I think it's probably best for the game if the Leafs, Canadians, and Canucks make the changes necessary to make the playoffs and start to contend for Lord Stanley's Cup. The Flames and Jets can both disappear for all I care, and the Sens seem very 'Meh' to me.

For the Conference Finals, I hope that it's Nashville vs Dallas, with a finals of Nashville vs Lightning. I went to 2 Blackhawks games this year, one in Nashville, the other in Tampa, so I'd be thrilled to see my two closet Franchises fight it out for the Cup.

All I care about though is that the Blues do not win it.

Rather than having the Flames and Jets just disappear why don't we just do this?

That's douchemod to you.

And we'd lose Postmaster as well, the original douchemod.

Well damnit. I guess we'll just hang on to FLA then. Maybe just axe the teams?

Another cool thing is seeing that scene at the beginning of Coaches Corner e
What's even crazier is that next year Canada/God's Team will be led by 18-year-old-Auston Matthews of ARIZONA to the promised land/playoffs.
Pretty sure the promised land is back to back to back #1 overall picks - I'd aim for the playoffs

haha - I'm not too keen on the FLA teams. Nashville is the closet to where I live by a margin and having been there, I can say that I really enjoy the city and arena.

Yes, they need MORE money tied up in their goalies. Also, I think the Rangers would be in for some roughhhh years. Hank has carried them for a long time, and they'd finally see just how much he was carrying.

I'm sure they'd have to give us one of Niemi/Lethonen and don't gotta tell me, i'm a Hank supporter, I have said millions of times that without him, we'd have been a bottom feeder the last 10+ years.

Sure, if they wanna give us a 1st, Klingberg and Nischuskin, they can have him, but they gotta take Girardi as well.

I don't see it happening. The goalie every team who needs one should be going after this offseason is Jake Allen of the St. Louis Blues. He's Elliott's backup. I think he could probably start for more than half the teams in the league.
