Are you predicting an off-season injury? Why would he miss 12 games next October?

For skating halfway across the ice and making a predatory crosscheck to the head of an opposing player?

As a head shot repeat offender he deserves at least 10 for that bullshit.

Well, I'll be surprised if he's gone for anything more than the rest of the season.

Worth noting that it doesn't seem like he actually got Glendening in the head (even if that's what he was going for), or that Glendening isn't hurt.

Teams may be leery of giving up a 1st for a player who will probably miss the first dozen games of the year.

No Kenny, you see you are missing the most important point. He is currently a LEAF player and that makes him worth at least double what an ordinary human would be.

GET WITH IT

I am coming back from a week off and buried under a mountain of email otherwise I would find some random player who was recently traded who has, like, nearly the same stat line and post that to prove myself.

And please don't post that someone else might be worth just as much, because I really don't have the time to fart in your general direction and taunt you a second time.

I know the DPOS doesn't seem to share this view (although they seem to be coming around a bit), but I couldn't give two shits whether Glendenning was hurt or not.

Kadri takes a run at a crosscheck aimed at a player's head. Worse yet he just doesn't seem to have learned anything from his two previous suspensions. He's knocking on the door of Torres/Cooke's sphere. If there is any hope that he'll ever learn now's the time to drop the hammer.

You're probably right about how much time he'll sit though. I sometimes forget what a bunch of dickless lizards run the NHL.

Yeah, I'm more attacking the dopes than defending Kadri here. I think he's trying to set the record of how many times in a season he can get his name in the papers for the wrong reasons.

Coming from a guy who keeps repeating that Tyutin and Johnson are tradeable despite the two of them combining for 17 points this season and both players having 2 seasons remaining on contracts that pay each player $4.3 million+, this is one of the most hypocritical things that's been written here in a while.

Were you an Oiler fan prior to your city getting a hockey team?

Is what Kadri did THAT much worse then Keith on Coyles?

No, Keith's was way worse, but I think Kenny is arguing that the DOPS is way too light when handing down their decisions. Start giving these guys 15-20 games and that will help drive home the message.

Keith's was way worse, but had Kadri actually managed to nail Glendening on the head they'd be pretty equal in severity.

Damien Cox ‏@DamoSpin

Crosscheck by Kadri nasty and dangerous. If anything, NHL could have given him more than 4 games. Totally over the line.

My first thought was someone hacked Damien's twitter account :D
