Buckle up!!
Assuming Panera Bread and Ghost are 1-2, who would be your third in lieu of McD?
I'm on the fence with this so it might actually be McDavid, but Eichel deserves some recognition as does Domi.

Good seasons the both, but the fact they're only a few points ahead of McDavid says it all to me.I'm on the fence with this so it might actually be McDavid, but Eichel deserves some recognition as does Domi.

I think Parayko should be up there too. Slowed down points-wise as the season went on but put up great possession numbers and is a huge reason STL is 2nd in the league in GA60.
The thing is Brassard was scoring at an impressive clip (and was doing so for a playoff team) but he still was only 22nd in rookie scoring. McDavid is 4th despite missing 45% of the season.I know McDavid is better than those players right now and when in the lineup he's been great. I just have a problem with a player being up for a major award when:
A) The play only 55% of their team's games.
B)They play no meaningful games. Like almost literally none of his games played meant anything. That's just crazy.
C) They don't go full Mario and win a scoring title or something crazy in their reduced games.
He's played so well despite these things that he's still being considered; however I firmly believe the fact that he's still in the conversation is due in part to his hype.
In 2008-09 Derick Brassard put up 25 points in 31 games (smaller sample size I know but not far from PPG) but was still 19th in Calder voting despite it being a pretty weak year for the Calder (Mason, Ryan, Versteeg).
Also, never said always. Looking at the makeup of this particular team, which apparently you aren't because just... history.
But I can understand a focus on the past if you're a Rangers' fan since history is where the best seasons of your players lives.

Ben Hutton, of course!Assuming Panera Bread and Ghost are 1-2, who would be your third in lieu of McD?
History is all there is until new history is written. You're the one who posted that cocky BS "get ready to get fucked up". I say, Caps have a LOT to prove come playoff time or its just ANOTHER great regular season
I think Frankie C would be a better choiceBen Hutton, of course!

Which team can score on itself the most?
We called up Clune and I think Sparks is starting. Should even things out.Who knew how much this game would mean when the schedule makers worked it out?
We have an advantage. You don't have Kadri and we do have Boll.
Boston has had some playoff success in recent years, so we should expect a deep run from them this season?

April 6: Blue Jackets at Maple Leafs—Neither team has had anything to play for since December, and both come into this week clinging to an outside shot at last place overall. We should really come up with some sort of trophy for any last-place battle between these two habitually awful teams, but unfortunately the CWHL is already using the obvious name.
