6-4 - I wonder if that missed convert is going to cost the Bears.

Patrick Kane now with 100 points on the season and poised to become the first American to win the Art Ross.
Hey, only took the country with 23 NHL teams 98 years for that to happen! I think that calls for another expansion team - You're up Billings, MT!

That hat trick last night for Brandon Saad was the first of his career. Also got Sonny Milano his first NHL point.

He's not bad for a fourth line scrub. Imagine how good he'd be if he could play top line hockey like Got-DAMN HERO Brandon Dubinsky.

Kadri to have a hearing for a cross-check to the head of Luke Glendening. Scroll to about the 2:30 mark.

So Kadri's finally made the leap to full-blown ratty dipshit.

Hope they can get a first for him. Don't need this shit.

A lot of making fun of Steve Yzerman on the radio this morning regarding his comments about Jonathan Drouin. Funny how suddenly we're told to "Look at the stat sheet" and that "his attitude has been great" now that your team is getting decimated by injuries.

BTW, Drouin has 9 goals in his last 10 AHL games.

Not surprised. He has been sadly immature from draft day. I wonder if he isnt already in the "move at any price in the offseason".

Has this been discussed? If so, has it ever happened in the history of NHL?

No Canadian teams will qualify for the playoffs..........2016 is an All USA Stanley Cup Championship.

If someone gives a first for Kadri, I want a first for Johnson.
One is a 25 year old RFA centre with good peripherals who averages about 50 points a season, the other a 29 year old defenceman who has never been a positive-possession player and is signed for two more seasons at $4.3 million per.

But yeah, totally equal value. :L

You just have to look at Johnson through the same Leaf coloured "ignore the negatives that rest of the world sees" glasses and they are pretty even.

Ignore that Johnson is terrible at possession and ignore that Kadri is a whiny little shit with a temper that makes him an easy target to take out of a game and there you have it. A push.

If you ignore that Johnson is terrible at possession the fact he is also generally not very good at playing defence in the NHL and has a terrible contract to boot is still rather visible. He also isn't scoring now, which doesn't help.

Kadri may have fully developed a reputation as a cheap shot artist and a crybaby but it would take a fool of the highest order to deny he is a good hockey player, not to mention one still under team control and eligible to be signed long-term at a reasonable price.

Kadri and Evander Kane play different positions but have very, very similar stat sheets. Take a look at what Buffalo had to part with to get him from Winnipeg and then tell me Kadri isn't worth a first round pick lol

Teams may be leery of giving up a 1st for a player who will probably miss the first dozen games of the year.
