I'd rip Fleury but that was one of the limpest team performances I've seen this season.

He's actually been pretty dang solid. Last night wasn't spectacular, like the first goal in particular, but man...just watch the fourth goal and you'll see where the team is. They were buzzing in the first ten minutes, but the second the Stars scored first they were done. Look, the Stars are a very good team, and they're getting much better goaltending than many expected, but geez the Pens just looked overwhelmed and out worked. Johnston will be on the hot seat if they're not at or over .500 at the 10 game mark.

And Crosby held pointless again last night, got to be something going on with the guy. Best player in the world doesn't get held pointless in 6 of 7 games.

He should be benched because he doesn't block shots. After moving him to the third line for half a game first, of course.

He's not Sidney Crosby of pre-concussion times, even though that version of him appears occasionally. But when he shoots the puck, good things happen. They've switched up the lines and we'll see how it goes. The team is really being hindered by the poor puck movers on defense. I think Sid will be just fine. Just needs to get into a groove. We'll see when that happens. In this NHL, he has to take advantage of powerplay opportunities to get his points...EV scoring is going to be tough to come by.

Kuznetsov scores his second of the night.

Caps up 4-3. If you bet the over tonight, you're in good shape..

Make that 5-3 on a tap in by Burakovsky.

I don't think the Oilers strategy of playing 18 forwards is working.
