I don't mind the obvious parody accounts, like FakeOilersGM or BoringSeanMonahan, but the guys who pretend to be Pierre LeBrun or other hockey insiders should be boiled in oil.

That's why for the Devils I only go with Tom Gulitti (@TGfireandice) and not Rich Chere (@Ledger_NJDevils). One posts facts and has real, truthful sources. The other takes random rumors he hears and runs with them. There's a reason the TSN guys typically retweet TG for Devils info.

In Dallas, it's Mike Heika. He is the one and only guy I trust down here. Like you describe with Gulitti - he doesn't do random crap. He's plugged in, respected and reliable with the organization.

You don't mess with the Farhan. Although he needs to learn how to spell Anaheim (lol)

You wonder if former Medicine Hat Tiger Emerson Etem might be heading to Vancouver as part of a Kesler trade to Anaheim...

Apparently this one is water and hurricane proof and comes equipped with stabilizers to accommodate the Ducks' latest acquisition.

NBC's Pierre McGuire says #Canucks might have cleared cap space to try & acquire #Sabres D Tyler Myers. $5.5M cap hit, 5 yrs remaining.

I can't see this trade actually happening unless the Nucks give up their 1st Round pick next year.

I would have thought they were clearing cap space in order to get Miller?

I have no doubt the League is trying to change the draft rules because the Sabres have stock piled a plethora of picks, but even with the potential changes, the Sabres still have (3) 1st Round picks in 2015. You would have to think that 2 of those are potential lottery picks.

Sabres GM upset over new draft lottery rules - was Buffalo targeted?

In my opinion, IPW, the Oilers were targetted, three consecutive first round picks, then a shortened season had them pick 7th overall, and now back to picking 3rd overall. Personally, I'd be fine with all 14 non-playoff teams having an equal shot at #1 overall (if we are truly concerned about teams "tanking" or "losing on purpose", let's take away the incentive).

Just my :2cents:

The problem with Myers is that he hasn't played up to or exceeded his rookie year so far, but he still has that potential to be a solid #1 defenseman in the League.

The Sabres have a nice crop of defensemen in their system right now, but Myers was supposed to be the cornerstone of the group.

He did improve over the past Season under trying circumstances, and it shows that he still could be that top guy the Sabres were counting on. I really don't think the Sabres will part with him unless the deal is too good to pass up.

That's why I think Murray won't let him go without a 1st next year, or at least a 2nd with a good player exchange as well.

I would say his value is close to "ripe fresh fucking pineapples" but more like "some what ripe looks alright fucking bananas."
