This is the Flames team I expected to see last season. +4 Auston Matthews points in the swing through New York.

Mike Smith needs to stay in the crease, but if he is going to chase the puck behind the net make certain that he gets it and not the other team.

He has to be happy that he is playing Toronto, because most teams would have put the puck in the net instead of passing it around until Smith got back to the crease.

That was an odd game. Looked like Calgary could have taken an early lead a few times but then the ice just sorta tilted and the Flames looked a little gassed.
