From what I've read the plan is for them to get either one of Fehr (off-season surgery) or Dupuis (IR) back on the roster. And when that happens Sprong is likely going to get sent back down. Fehr participated in a game day skate yesterday, so it looks like he isn't far off.

Sprong has good offensive instincts, but he still makes the rookie mistakes defensively, along with errant passes that shouldn't be made. Kid looks very promising, though.

One of the goalies I coach (now 14) said that Ron Tugnutt was the reason he wanted to play goal. I said "Aren't you a little young to remember him playing here?"

He said "Yeah, but my friend's older sister used to babysit his kids and she still talks about how much she liked him, and how cute she thought he was. I realized the goalies get the girls".
