Can we get Kelly Sutherland for the Flames - Canucks series?

Not a betting girl m'self, but I'd take those odds for the Caps any day.

WSH is not a bad value bet.

Its not often you see everyone (except 1) at 8/1 or better. That shows the parity and uncertainty this year.

I might be inclined to put down a loonie or two on OTT at those odds.

I think Calgary's going to surprise a lot of people during the playoffs. I have them going to the conference finals.

For that to happen, the Jets would have to eliminate the Ducks as the Honda Center curse looms large over the Flames. However, I'm getting ahead of myself, it would be a surprise to get by Vancouver.

What, you aren't happy with Nick Foligno? How bout Nikita Nikitin?

I love Nicky F, but they could have gotten him for Pascal LeClaire, not Methot :) maybe not...

Nikitin was fine if he had a babysitter. Nowhere near Kris Russell, though, even with Tyutin watching him.

Win % since trade deadline...East
PIT (35.0) vs NYR (71.4)
OTT (72.7) vs MTL (45.0)
DET (38.1) vs TB (66.7)
NYI (33.3) vs WSH (61.1)

Win % since trade deadline...West
WPG (61.1) vs ANA (61.1)
MIN (65.0) vs STL (57.9)

CGY (60.0) vs VAN (60.0)
CHI (57.9) vs NSH (31.6)

No wonder I'm having trouble picking a winner in this series.

22 pounds of bacon versus 34.5 pounds of silver - Tough call.
