General consensus amongst Flames fans is they don't like the Dorseet deal because they think it will be used as a comparable for Lance Bouma. He picked a heck of a time to have a career year.

Don't tell my wife but I think I have a new girlfriend, or at least one I want to pursue. The other day when I was coming back from lunch I saw a car with a Habs sticker on the back. Its rare but not too uncommon. Then I saw the license plate and it was "HABSIN7". Then I passed by I saw it was a relatively pretty blonde driving.* I debated crashing into her so I could get her number but I thought that would be odd and creepy. So instead I bribed an officer friend to give me her address and I am sitting outside her house now.

Not quite, if the Flames lose tonight, they will still knock the Kings out if they defeat the Jets on Saturday. Flames need a total of two points (a win or two loser points) to make the playoffs. Jets need two points as well to secure a playoff berth.

Why does everyone keep thinking the Kings are going to make it? They have played with no sense of urgency and they have taken everything for granted - why would the Flames fall off now after playing so well and working so hard for this long? Same with the Jets too - the Kings don't deserve it at this point
