Also, please, somebody, anybody, beat the Rangers in the playoffs. They cannot win.

That said, the Rangers could do the Flames a solid by defeating the Kings tonight.

I'd love for it to be the Flames.

I could go for a Canucks - Flames first round matchup though Matty - Sme pretty good historical playoff runs whenever those two teams clash in the first round.

I like the Tanev deal for both parties, nice work by Sir Bennington.

So, the ongoing complaints about scoring, yadda yadda: one of the Pens beat writers has made it one of his soapboxes on twitter to talk about scoring across the league, etc. Apparently the NHL didn't like that, and sent him a "nastygram" about it. Oh come on.

I'm not sure what the Ducks were doing on the deadline...and now I'm REALLY unsure what they're doing.

Probably just resting guys. The team hasn't gelled yet and I doubt they will. And their goaltending isn't good enough to get them to May anyways. They are just playing out the string.

Yes, so a number one seed in their division which just made a bunch of trade deadline moves in an attempt to improve their team, is playing out the string

No wonder people don't take the Ducks seriously - every BB coached team has stupid shit going on late in the season
