I think you may have left out the top candidate: Price.

Definitely forgot about Price. Guy's been great this year.

Rinne or Price. I think anybody else is a travesty - guys are barely scoring at above a point-per-game pace this year.

For the sake of argument, if I had to choose a skater for it, I'd go with Tavares or Backstrom, with Voracek getting consideration if Philly sneak in.

Time for some 3 on 3 OTs to increase scoring!!

Then again, many of their fans have been calling for the head of Joel Q. Ya know, the guy who recently coached them to 2 Cups in 4 seasons. Maybe they deserve this.

I think maybe some of the Hawks players should stop chirping opposing players when they hobble off the ice with an injury. The hockey gods took notice and payback is well you know.

Well, I for one would welcome the firing of Joel Q.

Perhaps he would want to come to the organization that drafted his nephew.

/but srsly, tough break for Patty Kane. He's growing up and is such a blast to watch.

They sometimes don't act as quickly as we would like them to.

I didn't think the hit on Kane was suspension worthy at all. Rather innocuous. Little shoves like that happen all the time, many times you don't even get 2 minutes out of it. Interested to see where Chicago goes now, seeing as they can keep Kane on LTIR and off the books until the playoffs basically.

with all the cap uncertainty they probably cant do anything more than get an expiring contract as a rental ... same with Bruins and Krejci

Right, but I'm pretty confident they weren't in a place to be adding any salary whatsoever without money going out too. Speculation was just for rental forwards like Vermette, etc.

Sabres should seriously consider acquiring Anton Forsberg to shore up the tank jo ... err ... goaltending ... yah thats it
That was definitely the difference last night. Neuvirth was awesome last night and Forsberg obviously wasn't.

We've already got one Swedish goalie though, don't need another.

any chance hawks miss the playoffs due to this Kane injury? I mean they have been playing 500 hockey since Jan 1 ... they continue that trend the rest of the way and Calgary goes 15 and 7 (tough ask i know) and Chicago is golfing
