I will never forget the backlash after Letang signed his 58 million dollar deal. He counts 7.2 against the Pens cap for the next seven seasons. After seeing Leddy get this deal, it makes the Letang contract better and better every season.

That TJ Brodie extension earlier this year looks very good as well. Leddy is good, but in my biased opinion, TJ Brodie > Leddy.

I admit to not being a fan of that deal when it happened...but oh man, it was a good deal.
