Surprised about Mackenzie. Skille I'd like to see stay, but they have Frattin and Tropp who are both better and younger versions of him.

Since they are all three out, that tells me the Jackets have a top six winger zeroed in on in UFA. They have too many bottom six guys and would have to let one walk even without picking up a top end guy. Now, letting 3 go? Jarmo's got something up his sleeve.

I would find it hard to believe that he hasn't after the last few years.

Murray seems to have a lot of control over what happens. I'm loving his no-nonsense approach and I don't see him dealing with a meddling owner.

So far it looks like Orpik and Bolland. And neither one by the Leafs! There's still time and opportunity left, but when it's all said and done I think those are pretty likely to be the two worst signings.
