Yeah, Datsyuk is a treat to watch, that's for sure. I also saw a little of the Preds - Oilers game last night and came to the following conclusion: Draisaitl can't skate, he looks like he needs a chair out there to stay upright.

I'm still at a loss as to why they didn't take Bennett.

I think the constant bashing of "too many small forwards on the team" got MacT and Klown focused on Leon and away from Bennett. Not that Bennett is small, but Leon is definitely heftier. I for one am very happy with the Oilers draft selection.

I am as well (Flames have always been my second team; fam all grew up in CGY), but given the shared misery Oilers and Leafs fans have endured the past decade the complete mismanagement of what should've been a solid rebuild does enrage me.

Antoine Vermette is their 1st line Center. Maloney needs to trade Yandle & improve the offense. The Yotes need Eric Staal in a bad way. I doubt they make the move though.

A few years ago Antoine Vermette was the Blue Jackets #1 Center. But we're feeling much better now.

You have got to love the madness of hockey fans. A few moons back we got our Son a Kipper bobble head statue as part of his Santa loot. It's substantial , not a cheapie game day hand out. My Son texted me yesterday that his Girlfriends Dad offered him $100 for it. I think we paid about $25 for it.
