Yikes...Reimer just took a knee to the head. Sent him to the locker room

I'm fully expecting to read somewhere in the next day or two that the reason Reimer got clipped is because Colton Orr isn't on the team.

Last night Steve Stamkos had 12 shots on goal which equaled the number of shots for the entire Sabres team.

Bah. Silly gimmicks.

Quit fucking with the game.

The ref wearing one looks like a fool.

If implemented properly (this is the NHL, so probably not) I'm all in favo(u)r of it.

Mainly I'm hoping they can get to the point where all refs wear these and they can use them for instant replay. A floating camera has the potential to provide significantly better views on close goals than a fixed point camera.

Its just a replay device, I think the sanctity of the game is safe from it.

I agree about the refs look though, usually I enjoy looking at those handsome men but now I cannot take the one wearing that seriously.

Do you think Kerry Fraser (before he donned the helmet) would have agreed to mess up his glorious hair with a camera?

From yesterday:

Gene Principe @GenePrincipe
RNH doesn't skate today. Tonight Oilers recall Bogdan Yakimov. It appears Nugent-Hopkins status for Tuesday vs. LA is in doubt.#staytuned

I guess that means Draisaitl is the number one center for the Oilers.

Hurt his shoulder throwing those haymakers on Saturday.

Gibbons played pretty good with the Penguins if memory serves, I wonder if they would pluck him off the waiver wire. Not a big guy, but great wheels.

Pens don't have room roster wise or cap wise, but I'd be a bit surprised if someone doesn't pick him up. Seems like he had an injury that hampered any chance in Columbus. He's a solid role player. I'd take him back for the PK alone.

Plain and simple odd man out. Jackets still love Tropp and can't get rid of Boll. With SKille and Cracknell there to compete for ice time once Jenner and Dubi come back and the kids playing so well, it just had to happen.

They have a bit of a logjam on D as well. Erixon and Goloubef both have to clear waivers to be sent down and either would most certainly be claimed. So I expect a minor move here soon. Erixon (I hope) and Tropp for picks. Unless someone is dumb enough to take Boll.
