BREAKING NEWS........ "we may or may not do anything. no further questions"
super high probability that the settlement claim includes a non-disclosure, so NHL can wash their hands of the whole mess in about three days.
Well, we tried. hockey is for everyone!

Did Victor Mete really fall that far? I liked him alot when he was coming up with the Canadiens.

And here's why I think it'll eventually come out - there are guys on that team who had nothing to do with this who are going to get pissed at being associated with this.

I meant hockey talent, but you have an excellent point.
I was 50/50 lol. Yeah, Mete didn't really pan out anywhere.

I'd still probably take a shot on him though if I'm a good team looking for a no risk value pickup. Montreal and Ottawa haven't exactly been great places to learn how to play defence the past few years.

attaboy, turd ferguson
way to reinforce that stereotype.

Just saying the mask did help muffle Leah Hextall's voice. See we can come to common ground on the whole mask debate. :D

Jake Bean seems like a choir boy. Straight up goody two shoes. So I would not expect he would have been a part of something like this. But if he was - fuck him. Terminate his contract and let him go to prison.

bear in mind, it wasn't the World Junior team per se.
It included member of the team, but was a wider group of prospects.

I was able to find pictures of a bunch of the participants on the Gala website the other day,
but it's either been scrubbed or I'm not looking in the right place this time.
Honourees for the event included Mike Babcock and Corey Perry, if that's any indication of how they classed up the joint.

Yeah, that's Makar's prime argument in his own defence. Many other players besides the WJHC team were at the gala. Hoping the same for Bean.

Look, I’m not saying it isn’t worth going to every agent of every player from that squad and seeking comment but like wtf are they gonna say? “Oh yeah, my guy’s a bonafide sexual predator alright. Real sick fuck. Why you think he’s in the KHL?”
