All remaining teams are in states with no state tax. Since 2020 that's 6 of 8 Cup finalists.

I get the point, but technically its 3 of the final 4. NC taxes individuals at 4.75% (and dropping)

Is Alberta considered the same way a 0% US State is viewed?

Huh. I was always under the impression NC had a state tax.

But what do I know about taxes, I haven't paid any in years.

Not even close. Alberta WAS a flat tax rate of 10% a while back. Now it is between 10%-15% provincial tax rate. I think it's the lowest in Canada but nothing like 0% US states.

But you can effectively get that rate down with credits for fuel inefficiency on you truck. I also believe multiple sets of truck nuts are a tax deduction.

you would think some clarity going into the summer would be beneficial for everyone.
when does this decision get made?

this just in "the NHL could impose a $3-4 million Cap penalty on the Vancouver Canucks for just existing in the league."
