I think the secondary is the weakest link. Pressure from the line and OLBs is going to be very important. I am not calling them bad, I just think the most questions are in the secondary.

Hello Sty. I would agree with the above comments but you have to add poor tackling by the back seven. Along with stopping the run, no pass rusk and poor tackling have been our Achilles heel for sometime now. Over the past few yrs we have discussed before that our coaching staff need to correct this but the beat goes on. Sometimes I think our guys simply don't like physical contact. Bad techniques, bad angles you name it. All in all I put the blame on the coaching. It is the coaching staff’s job to correct this. Sanders a WR now!!!!!, ran through our back seven with ease. now I know we had some 2nd teamers out there. Foreman ran right through Nickerson on the TD run. Nickerson is a starter.

Opposing teams RB's and WR's are salivating at getting loose against our D.

Corners. Dunbar has been trash all preseason. Norman was so bad he was getting picked on the other night. Moreau got smoked Friday too.

Wanted Talib, DRC, and even Breeland wouldn't have hurt my feelings. Hopefully Dunny and Fabian can be ready week one.

dunbar and FM are young , it will take time . that is why losing fuller stings so much

I am on record as saying losing Fuller was a gut punch. Now that I've gotten that out of they way, I would have love d to have signed a proven vet at the position. All I got was pushback. I pray I'm wrong. I pray Dunbar and Moreau ball.out. My point was if you're going to go get Smith, you might as well go all in. (Talib)

This brings to the table the bigger question. Are the Redskins trying to rebuild and stay competitive at the same time? That never works.

One of the guys I said we could sign to run this offense (Keemun) smoked this defense and when I said losing fuller wasn’t the walk in the park the abc crowd made it out to be , well now you have it up close and personal

I remember you saying that skinsdad. I remember you saying A.J. and Bridgwater too. I get the fact that you are mad Kirk is gone. I'm disappointed too. I would just hate to see quality posters like you and gkekoa spend every waking moment and hijack every thread on here reliving the Smith trade. That would be very disappointing for me because both of you bring so much to the table when it comes to points of view. I'd hate to see either of you become so one dimensional.

Yep!! They have been trying to do this since 1999. Two attempts with Vinny Cerrato and one with Bruce Allen (current).

Not hijacking at all. The thread says defensive side of the ball. The complaint was the secondary and the suggestion was to hire an old guy that doesn’t have a job...for a reason. I was simply reminding people we had a very good, young corner in here last season, but we chose an old QB over him.

The guys I stumped for to replace Fuller have jobs and are performing those jobs much better than Dunbar at this point.

I guess my issue is, Fuller gets traded and I say we have to get get Talib, DRC, or bring back Breeland and all hear is no, Dunbar and Moreau are fine.

Then when they play like hot garbage all preseason, the we should have kept Fuller card gets pulled. That's slick.

Well, first we should have kept Fuller.

We could not afford Talib, who is making 11mil this season.

DRC sucks.

I was fine with bringing back B.B. I do believe he is unsigned.
