I'm not sure about this being the right place, but what do we think the chances are that the team is trying to shop either Lewis or Whitehead and that is why Lewis got the start to show himself?

With Tulloch playing in quicksand cleats now, not sure we can afford to peddle any of our LBs

IMO on Moore, cut him. Pretty well know the Lions are screwed if Matty goes down anyway. Keep DanO and sign whoever off the street if needed. Rather have that spot go elsewhere on the 53.

With the addition of a TE. Feel same way on Fauria. Sure he is red zone pony, there are plenty of guys for RZ plays. I will take a guy who also plays between the 20's to get to the red zone. Wright's blocking can't be much worse than Fauria at the line. Fauria fared well downfield with smaller guys.

I'd rather keep Fauria and boot an extra WR for Wright. I really don't like any of our receivers outside of Tate and Johnson. I'd rather see Johnson Tate Moore Fuller Wright than any other combination even though I kind of hate Fuller. Tate and Moore two smaller bodied guys Johnson and Fuller as your X, Wright being able to play the Ebron Joker TE spot while having Ebron showing speed as an inline.

If you want a sixth I guess it's Salas but I don't know which position would lose out to keep him. I like having two tight ends like Wright and Ebron because you aren't tipping your hand nearly as much with personnel.

Fuller can be good to really good on 7 and 9 routes and better than average on 3 and 5 routes but inside/seam routes, even routes, he's just not that good, right now, and may very well never be. He's young and only had less than a year and a half at VT for football. Kid was a track/sprint guy at Kansas for two years before transferring.

I'm hoping the tipping of the hand is what Lombardi learned watching film during the offseason. He made it obvious the Lions were passing with Riddick in the game last year. Would love to see more passing from a 22 package. Lombardi was not good at keeping the defense honest last year.

We are probably keeping Ross as the 5th. Salas is a bigger version of Broyles. He can use his body, has great hands but gets zero separation. I wish we would keep Jones, and get rid of Fauria instead. Only carry 3 TEs.

The Jets just lost Amaro for the year. Perhaps Fauria would be appealing to them?

Perhaps a quality starting QB, first. Once they get that, then they can have Fauria. Nah, the J-E-T-S way is, get the targets first, then worry about getting into the red-zone because that's Fauria's bread and butter

They can get him on waivers now. Amaro was a all around TE. Not sure Fauria can replace him, but he can help in the red zone.

Kellen Moore, Fauria, Crezdon Butler, Casey Pierce all released.

I'm truly just awaiting the DL and OL cuts. Wanting to see if Boggs makes it and if they roll the dice on that Webster will clear waivers after a poor camp. Love to see Cudjo and Hunt on the roster.

Pretty much everyone I have been saying except I Johnson. I think they will try to put him on the PS. Looks like they are going with 4 safeties only. Also, Butler the same to the PS. He was solid.

I think Cudjo and Hunt make it. I think Wooton and Tapp are the last cuts. With JJ hurt and NGata and Reid not 100% it makes sense to keep 5 DTs and 4 DEs.

Winn getting cut means ZZ made it. :whoo:

Cudjo did not make it. Very last cut. :mad2: They kept Tapp instead.
