I just posted recruiting classes for them the last four years, tell me how you average #11 in recruiting doesn't translate in the playoffs?

That's not the question. The question is who can we get that's better than him? Better at coaching (which isn't hard), developing talent, and recruiting. Big names can go somewhere easier without the academic restrictions, and located in a recruiting hotbed. ND will have to let it ride on a young hot coach.

I love to hate on Notre Dame as much as the next guy, but tha isn’t completely true. Notre Dame has a deal with the ACC. It is basically a member without the chance of playing for a conference title or the ability to wear the little patch on the jersey. They play X amount of teams from that conference per year and it rotates.

They are basically an unofficial member of the ACC. So add them into that conference as a full member and it would be no. After taking this type of loss in the ACC Title Game they would not be.
