G Green better be in it next year. Arguably the best dunker since VC.

I agree- but only because i wish it was consistent for a long time- ifthey always did a rack of all money balls thats fine-

I think its great if they could have the same exact thing for years and years and years so you can effectively compare.

now we cant compare which sucks

Imagine how much Hodges would have made with the all money ball rack.

30+ for sure

Yeah, Green over LaVine still... pretty easily too. He's already been there and done that and won the contest. His dunks that have leaked out of the Suns twitter/FB pages the last couple years are mind-boggling.

He actually did 2 of those dunks LaVine did last night after a practice when he went head to head with Archie Goodwin in a dunk contest earlier this season.

Dunk contest is harder than performing in practice in an empty gym with your teammates

Lavine did them live at the Garden in front of millions with out even messing up once on his 2 better ones lol.

Sorry Green can throw it down but he ain't Zach. The kid is so effort less with it.

Didn't even bring out half of what he can do. His free throw line windmills etc..

I think a lot of people can do great dunks with no pressure on them but it's much different when you're only giving 3 attempts. As I said last night what made Lavine first 2 dunks special is that he did it on the first try. I lose interest in the dunk a lot of time if you need more than 2 attempts

Yup after 2 tries the luster is gone cuz you see it coming.

I will say oladpio missing his first attempt on his first dunk was great though. Crowd was disinterested but once he missed they all saw what he was attempting Nd everyone was on their feet with phones out. That was cool as hell.

You guys are just now realizing what LaVine can do. Us Arizona fans saw what he could do in college and I've personally followed him since his high school days.... Yes he can throw down but I sure as hell ain't about to put him above Green. Let's be real. I am willing to say they are 1 and 2.

It's called opinion for a reason.

You guys have your opinion and we have our opinion.

No reason to try and forced everyone to put Green ahead of Lavine

Green has been doing it for years too, even before he came to PHX I had him as the best dunker in the game by a long shot. LaVine is the closest thing to him, but not even really on his level yet. My point was Green has been doing what LaVine did last night for years.

I'm not trying to force anything on anyone. Just replying to the nonsense you implied by saying "easy to do it in an empty gym" when Green has not only won the NBA dunk contest but the McDonalds All American Dunk Contest as well, and has done it in games multiple times over his career.

How many dunks Green made when he won the dunk contest on the first try? I'm just curious because he won it during a time period when they did not limit your attempts.

Nate Robinson won the dunk contest when he needed 10 tries for one dunk

I just watched it actually and he made all of them on the first attempt besides 1 where he had to measure his own pass, kinda like LaVine did last night, so it doesn't really count as a miss. I'm not saying Green's dunk contest was better than LaVine's because he put on one of the best shows all-time, but when it comes to the better all-around dunker I take Green all day errr day.

Not trying to take anything away from LaVine, because that was fucking filthy last night.

I've known Lavine for years as well.

I am a college basketball guy through and through. I follow everyone coming up the high school ranks.

Lavine is just smooth and makes everything look easy

Here is Gerald Green slam dunk contest from 2007. First dunk wasn't as good as any of Lavine's dunk from last night

2nd dunk was nice but nothing special. Only nice because he covered his eyes for a little bit

3rd dunk was so weak.

4th dunk was so so.

Lavine put on a much better performance last night than this....not even close truth be told. He's a great dunker but the year he won the contest was a real dud
