So the BIG wants our formerly elite football and hoops programs?
Ok

I just gave you the numbers. Please explain how come the SEC and B1G have higher ratings in both years than the other three conferences, if the B1G isn't on TV? How come the PAC 12 is listed in 5th if they are on TV so much?
If they were to stay in a conference, Texas could only be so lucky as to be part of the B1G.
Again, nothing about Kansas academically is better than Rutgers or Maryland, and actually they're nowhere near their academic level. Not only that, but Rutgers brings the NYC market, which is far more than Kansas can offer. Kansas has nothing to offer the B1G. It just doesn't make any sense for us to split money with a school that offers little to nothing in return.
No they don't want WVU.So the BIG wants our formerly elite football and hoops programs?

The "most" as in sq/mi or the "most" as in number of TV's?I guess I'll type slower. The PAC and BIG 12 have the most TV coverage, I don't care about ratings. I'm talking with 16 team conferences who would have the best chance to be on TV the most. Don't worry, I'm sure the Big would still own the ESPN 11am slot.
So what you are saying is that despite being on more channels no one cares to watch Big12 and PAC games? Congrats on that.I guess I'll type slower. Pac 16
North division
Washington
WSU
Oregon
OSU
Stanford
Cal
Utah
Colorado
South division
AZ
ASU
USC
UCLA
Texas

Baylor
TCU
Original Pac schools in 1 division, with cali as a recruiting base. Southwest division has Texas as a main recruiting base, and this conference has so many major TV markets its scary. the SEC takes West Virginia and Okie light, ACC gets their choice of Iowa State, k state, or UConn. Everybody wins.

I am curious as to numbers of households they all add up.Most as in networks. Off the top of my head, this is how I think it breaks down. If I'm wrong, sorry just correct me
Pac 12-Fox, Fox sports 1, Fox sports, ABC, ESPN, 2, U, pac 12 network
Big 12-Fox, Fox sports 1, Fox sports, ABC, ESPN, 2, U, team networks
SEC-CBS, ESPN, 2, U, SEC network (do they play on CBS sports network)
Big-ABC, ESPN, 2, U, Big ten network
ACC-ABC, ESPN, 2, U

If the league is getting full coverage (all games televised) it doesn't really matter how many different networks they are on. The B1G televises all games between the channels you mentioned. Having games on FS1 and regional Fox Sports Networks is no different than having games on the Big Ten Network. FS1 does not have a very big viewership yet, and the regional Fox Sports channels are only available in certain areas. I just don't think more networks = better. Most as in networks. I already responded once before I saw this, but Fox Sports is a series of regional networks if I am not mistaken. FS1 is the Fox national sports channel, so if something is on Fox Sports (eg Fox Sports Midwest) it is not nationally televised.Except for the conference networks, all the other networks are on every tv with basic cable. Of course Fox, ABC, and CBS are on every tv in America.

Strange. The only games I can get on mine (Fox Sports Midwest) seem to be Big 12 games, typically KU or TTU or some other meaningless Big 12 gameYou're only half right. Yes, fox breaks it up regionally, but everybody has their own version of it. Where I live its called Fox sports southwest, but its called something different everywhere. But if USC is playing on Fox sports LA, it is shown nationally on everybody's "regional" fox sports. So yes, I get all the pac 12 games on my Fox sports southwest channel. So yes, its a national broadcasted game.

I'm a pretty big fan of college football in general, and love ending my college football Saturdays with a late night PAC game or two, and I've never noticed them being on. I wasn't trying to jab at the Big 12 with that "meaningless" comment, I just meant that the teams playing were usually the conference bottom feeders (because the better teams are usually on ESPN or whatever else). I could be mistaken, but I don't think I get nearly as many PAC games on that channel as you do. Could it be because you have FS SouthWEST so they figure you're more interested in what is going on out west? That's because its the only games you notice, because Nebraska fans are for some reason obsessed with the big 12.
And if you put all three together you could call it the Farm & Ranch Network, sponsored by Big Oil.![]()
