Oh god, the Blues. So glad I dont care about hockey. Following Mizzou gives me enough playoff dread.

The Cubs are really talented and ahead of schedule but Arrieta also got a little bit of invincibility worn off, too, so maybe if he is just a normal Ace then they just become one of the contenders for awhile and not a super team. I suspect everyone will be picking Royals v Cubs in next years World Series from day 1 but if Ive learned anything about baseball is that everyone is always wrong.

We need more than Arrieta, because Lester as a 2 and Hendricks as a 3, isn't going to cut it.

After Arrieta threw that complete game shutout in the Wildcard game, the guy doing the post game asked him how he's feeling, Arrieta said "I'm exhausted". Sure, that could have meant that he's just tired after the complete game, but I felt like he meant more than that. And sure as shit, he looked tired against the Cards, and again in the NLCS

I think there is a really good argument to be made that Chicago, Pitt and STL pushed each other too hard and the Mets were able to coast in a Charmin soft division.

Well Jake did throw about 50 more innings than he's ever thrown in his life this year so I'm sure his arm isn't the same as it was in August but it is what it is. The Cubs rotation will look much better next year I would think if Zimmerman or Price etc come to the north side. I'm just happy to be caring about baseball in October at this point :suds:

And sending the cards home was icing on the cake.

Yep, kind of bullshit, isn't it?

Cubs and Pirates went down to the last day fighting for home field. And if I remember correctly, the Cards had to win their 100th game before they even clinched the division.

Yo Clayton, this is thread has nothing to do with your sitting at home cardinals! Why don't you take your defeated "PED" allegation salty ass to the bench where you belong b i t c h.

2015 CUBS > cardinals...and, really that's all that matters. SUCK on that all off season.

AND, Hell yes they can OP...GO CUBS GO!
Your team.has sucked for 108 years......suck on that for another "wait till next year" team..LMFAO
