I believe I've stated multiple times I'd rather pay $10 a year or something than see ads. I'm not going to allow ads on my browser for a multitude of reasons, the least being annoyance, the greatest being the existence of ads with malicious code embedded, which isn't that uncommon.

So take my money and let me keep my adblock, please.

The ads are generated from your browser, so if you are looking at malicious and code embeded shit then thats what ads you're gonna get. But the ads keep the place up and running, if ya don't like it......

Haha, my jimmies aren't rustled at all! I'm just saying I hate ads and would pay to not see them. This is a great forum, and $10/year isn't shit to me for a good forum like this. I pay for a premium level membership ($30, but includes allowing a text-only link to my website in my signature) to another forum (related to my hobby) and one of the benefits offered is no ads, but I pay it anyway to support the site regardless of the ad situation due to having adblock.

I'm just saying I'd do the same thing here in a heartbeat and I really hope Hammer considers it. Not mandatory, just for those who want to chip in. Shit, a gofundme or something would work too.

My problem is at times I can't even get back to the top of the screen it shoots me right down...i'm at work now so I do not have an ad blocker on here, and man is it tough to deal with. Obviously nobody wants to be irritated while trying to do something they enjoy. I agree with my fellow Eagles poster, i'd gladly make a $10-$20 donation to avoid this kind of stuff.

Actually, this couldn't be more incorrect. Some ads are generated this way, but, very often, malicious code can be injected into individual ads or ad networks without anyone noticing until they have a bot network on their hands.
