How hard is it to land tickets up there? Me and some co-workers wanting to come to the game in September.

In my experience pretty much any big time sporting event, the difficulty of getting tickets depend on how much $$$ you are willing to dish out. Good luck

The sooner you start poking around, the better. No matter how you find the tickets, they'll be expensive as hell most likely. However if you jump on stubhub you'll still be able to find a group of them I'm sure.

Ohio State is going to be pretty stacked next year and most home games look really good (Oklahoma, Army looking better, Penn St, Michigan St). You're best bet for a game is probably UNLV, Maryland, or Illinois.

You can always hope, as I do, that they lose a few games early in the season. That way ticket prices will plummet once they are out of playoff contention! :suds: (I can dream)

The Oklahoma game will probably carry a decently lofty ticket price, they arent that hard to get if you are willing to pay though.

It's not easy. More than likely, you'll have to go through Stub Hub or a similar broker. My advice would be avoid B deck, unless you like sitting behind poles.

Just a thought. You may want to tailgate and try to get a ticket just a couple of minutes before kickoff. Tickets will drop significantly once the game starts (scalpers). I usually will get my tickets through the Alumni Association.

Damn I miss games @ The Shoe. Went to multiple games every year from '84 until '05.

three things: 1 if you buy B deck, research the view of the seat thoroughly. many sites have a "fanview" option. there are some good/decent seats in B deck but you could also end up with half the field covered by a concrete pillar.

2. any online site you be sure to check that it doesnt say student ticket, or student id required. you wont be getting in the game

3. If you buy from a person such as on ebay or scalper, be very careful. counterfeit tickets have become sort of an issue, especially with people going the route of trying to purchase minutes before or minutes after kickoff (sad bc i used to like getting tickets this way)

Any stadium with obstructed view seats is a trash stadium.
