Yep. tOSU made a mistake when they let Fickell go. I truly believe he is a better coach than Day.

First half was as expected and they got better in the 2nd.

They are not a complete team yet but will get better as the year progresses.

just my

1. first game is always rusty.
2. while most power 5s start their year with a cupcake, OSU started with a conference game. At the end of the day, it was tougher competition, than playing someone like east Carolina, UT martin, or middle Tennessee.

I mean, many were saying the same after Stroud's debut. Realize not McCord's debut as ironically, he started against Akron when Stroud was ineffective and a little beat up....after that akron game many wanted McCord to get the #1 job.
