Rutgers and Syracuse were both looking at Buckeyes DC Chris Ash...

....but apparently Ash pulled out of consideration for the Syracuse position. So it looks like it could be Rutgers.

Could Ohio State need to replace another assistant?

I saw a tweet from a SU WR saying welcome to our new HC Ash? It was eventually pulled I think. I was not aware of Rutgers being mentioned?

Yup.... I just did a Google search on the three words "Chris Ash Rutgers", and got several hits/links to reports of Ash being mentioned for the Rutgers position.

Ash is going for sure and we all knew that was coming. I thought that he would possibly stick around for a better opportunity when it comes. Rutgers would actually be a very good spot imo. Syracuse is a tough area to recruit nowadays.
I posted a thread on the Buckeye board earlier that I thought Ash was going to SU and who will replace him as our new DC. Muschamp was my first choice, but I'm not sure about the relationship between the two? Oh well, Urbs will find his guy.
