Oh, and when UW did beat up Oregon year after year it had no impact. It didn't matter because Oregon didn't matter. All that mattered was beating USC, whoever was hot that year, and the cougs.

What have they accomplished?

tOSU - gets crub stomped after hitting Clemson pretty boy QB

Whoregon - didn't even get to the playoffs, some freshman QB playing for Herm made sure of that!

OSU has won a NC, a Rose Bowl, a Sugar Bowl, a Fiesta Bowl, and a Cotton Bowl all in the last 5 years.

Oregon just won the Rose Bowl (over a top 10 OOC team, no less), while also winning another Rose Bowl and making the NCG in the last 5 years.

On the flipside, in that same timeframe, Washington has won a Las Vegas Bowl and a Heart of Dallas Bowl. michigan has won a Citrus Bowl.

Pretty simple.

There was a lot of years, like all of them before this current run, where a duck win was an oddity and nothing more. It wasn't something any husky fan paid attention to. It wasn't a rivalry. No one cared more than an odd loss to say, Cal or something. It wasn't until the dancing on the O and the aftermath that hated really sparked back up. There was a beef in the 50s before that. That's about it.

But sure. Act like Oregon has always been in the driver's seat. Most of you didn't follow football back when Oregon was bad.

Oregon's run while the rest of the Pac has been down hasn't been contested, nor that UW had the worst stretch of football in it's entire history by a WIDE margin over an 8-9 year span after Neuheisel. Doesn't change anything else said. For all of recorded history before that UW and Oregon wasn't much of a rivalry. That's a fact. Beating them meant nothing AT ALL to our fans. It was expected. The only thing we cared about was USC, the cougs, and whatever flavor was hot that year.
