Do you think Ohio St will be playing NY 6 or CFP level football in week 5?

With a new head coach and a freshman QB, anything less than that level of play and they can be beaten on the road by a team like Purdue.

Oh wait. NVM, they had Urbs and Haskins in that game.
I dunno. Lots of unknowns for both teams. If neither are playing at that level, talent will likely win out.

And pesky Purdue kept OSU from Indianapolis last year.

Oh, wait

Ohio state is chock full of talent that is for sure but I don't know if they are a cohesive unit yet, Purdue on the other hand I am worried about. Even with the cat being out of the bag of Rondale Moore I still think Purdue and Northwestern are bigger threats than Ohio State. They play as more of a cohesive unit right now.

Still fuck em all Huskers fer champs

This goes for any team on the schedule outside of the occ minus CO at this point, offensively we are going to make a big leap from last year, defense however until they prove otherwise I can’t envision them being any better than last year. Will that be enough to get the win? Last year it would have...

Purdue, I agree on. Good coaching, but they also lost their QB.

Disagree on Northwestern. No Clayton Thorson. They brought in a hot shot transfer QB, Nebraska brought in a hot shot QB who had the Mannings supporting him, Tanner Lee(hip hip hooray). Northwestern also will have a new O line and a new Oline coach.

What Northwestern does have is Paddy Fisher. If he stays healthy, he is going to have a nice NFL career. Along the lines of Chris Spielman or Zach Thomas IMHO.

Wow, not enough points. Bet the Buckeyes. I know I am being the negative Nancy here.

i can't believe that many people bet on Nebraska that the books can make the point spread so low.

Total Defense

1. Wisconsin
2. Ohio State

Ohio State has allowed three offensive TDs.

Have to agree. I expect it'll rise and find a sweet spot -10.5 or so.

Maybe they catch tOSU looking ahead to Sparty? LOL

I typically use vegasinsider, but they had nothing up when I looked. So I defaulted to oddsshark.

I'm thinking the -7 on oddsshark is a pre-season odds. Junk site.

Sitting here wondering how banged up the Huskers are on the offense skill positions?

Then I wonder 'does it really make a difference'?

Three things....

1) Nebraska better be watching lots of tape of Purdue/OSU last season and how Rondale Moore owned the day.

2) OSU will assume this to be the case, and will be reviewing the same tape as well as Wandale Robinson

3) The better coaching staff will prevale, but I really hope we let Wandale loose, and successfully. I really hope Washington is healthy, because both of them on the field will be dangerous.

Pretty sad state of affairs in Lincoln when Nebraska fans hope to be like Purdue.
