You have no clue how Tua would play in a situation like that. Haskins had an off night but is a damn good QB. Bama is good this year, no doubt, but they've played no one so far.

Truth.

Barely squeaked by a NW team that only gets worse as the game goes on. I think UM drops a few more games. Hope OSU blows UM's doors off

Their D is damn good. But their offense isn't good. Basically they'll go as far as the D takes them. Which is a bit odd since some yo-yo's think Jimbo Khaki Pants is some kinda QB Whisperer or something.

This was a wake-up for us. This is unquestionably one of the top 2-3 teams in the nation. Overall talent ended up winning the day. It should've been a bigger win for OSU, but despite constantly shooting ourselves in the foot, and dealing with some really bad calls, we came out on top. PSU is still a top 15 team, there's not doubt,

We got lucky to win this game. Happy Valley is undoubtably one of the hardest places to play. PSU was pumped up to play this game. The crowd was the 12th man. I almost feel sorry for their fans. The last 3 years have been entertaining for sure.

I don't feel sorry for shit. They were lucky to be in this game. Yet again, our WRs loved dropping the ball. Haskins should've had at least 4 more completions and 1 less INT. Also, the PI and then later targeting fouls were absolutely horrendous, especially the targeting. This crew needs a suspension for that targeting call.

Yeah the targeting was weird. The announcers kept saying he was defenseless but I can't tell you how many times I've seen a receiver catch the ball, stumble a little like that, then regain his balance and keep running

Penn State's DBs looke like Baylor's or Texas Tech's in the 4th quarter. They didn't touch the WRs and RBs much less tackle them.

The fact that it was his shoulder that made contact with the ball carrier is all anyone needs to know. He was running full speed trying to break up a pass. This call has gotten completely out of control and this crew needs to be disciplined. By their definition, damn near every ball carrier is defenseless when they get hit.

One thing Ohio State can always say about their receivers, they are tremendous at blocking down field

Did OSU's receivers block the whole game or just in the 4th quarter?

Penn State's DBs were absolutely horrendous in the 4th quarter IMO.

Yeah, they've got to put some sense into that rule. West Virginia had one similar in the Tech game IIRC.

It was a good game, but I'm not sure what I just watched at the end there...
I believe it was the nationally televised castration of James Franklin because he obviousily lost his balls at the end of the game.

They're taking the game off the field and putting it into the refs' hands. They seem to just completely ignore intent as well as the fact that these are elite athletes playing at full speed with nanoseconds to react.

None of Ohio States offensive players played very well before the 2nd half
