oh you just know that bortles' first playoff game experience is set up to be an epic disaster, he'll probably shit himself as he runs out of the tunnel during pregame introductions

Agreed, but they will run that team the way they have all season, do everything possible to avoid Bortles having to get involved

Chargers are really well balanced team

Marcus Marriotta is one of the worst QB's in the NFL, and they are your typical AFC South playoff punching bag like the Colts and Texans of the past, I want no part of that garbage team in the playoffs
4 and 5 seed could easily be Titans at Chargers. So hopefully it will be an early exit.

Agreed, I guess the game at Arrowhead this week will tell us a lot

Chargers have a nice run/pass combo going right now, and a very underrated group on defense

I was running some scenarios. If the Titans/Chiefs/Bills all end up at 9-7, the Chiefs get the wild card (assuming Chargers win out) even though the Chiefs lost to the Bills. In a 3-way tie it will go to strength of victory, which goes to KC.

Mariota is tied for the most comebacks and game winning drives in the NFL this year and the Titans could be 9-5 right now instead of 8-4 had he not gotten injured. He's not one of the best, but he's not one of the worst. He's in the top half in the league.

He's been absolutely one of the worst QB's in the NFL, regressing rapidly

He has been regressing, but I disagree that he's been one of the worst in the NFL.

I have him neck and neck with Winston on the "Just not sure what they are" list

I would absolutely take Jimmy G over both of them today with a gun to my head

Interesting game is gonna be next week with Chargers vs. Jets in New York. Could be a trap game for the Chargers.

Its a pretty safe prediction that the Jets lose out

Saints
Chargers
Pats

I wonder where that would leave Bowles, finishing the season on a sour note

I think he should stay, but that will make things a bit sketchy

Eh idk. Last year the Chargers let the Browns get their first win on them. Granted, Chargers aren't as bad as they were last year, but the Jets have also played better than literally everyone thought. Noone had the Jets winning 1 game let alone 5. The Chargers need to win out in order to get a playoff spot. Ran a scenario where the Bills, Titans, Chiefs and Chargers at 9-7. The Chiefs win the division and the Bills get the Wild Card spot based on tie-breakers.

Doesn't Mariota have more ints than TD passes this year? I believe the 3-10 Niners are actually favourite over the 8-5 Titans this weekend...and that is mostly because of the quarterbacks involved.

And the Jets are a middle of the pack team at home. 4-3 this year, 15th in point differential, 12th in points per game.

Bingo, another QB that when no longer uses his legs, has been exposed as a poor pocket QB

Yeah, I think Bowles has earned some love this season, but will more than likely finish the season on a 4 game losing streak

I would be more confident in the Steelers chances if we were a healthy team. For the most part we are but JuJu, Shazier, Pouncey, Sensabaugh, Haden and Tuitt are all banged up or sick. Matakevich injury hurts on special teams.

Pats D line made Cutler look like Marino out there, scared to see what Ben does. After all he had over 500 yards vs Balt who already had 3 shutouts this season, scary
