I think they built up Uso for us to believe....

If you think that you can build up a guy that hasn't wrestled, again because I have huge issues with this, in 6 fucking years. Then you must think that your fans mindless sheep or have a bad memory.

they cheer for Becky Lynch. I could believe they’d buy anything after that.

No, I don’t think they can build up Pierce to be believable, but you’re missing the point in that they don’t have too.

You’re not supposed to believe Pierce can win that’s not what they’re angling for. You’re supposed to watch to see what Roman does to a guy who is just an authority figure and how far will he go to show he’s not to be messed with.

If this was a normal PPV it wouldn’t work, but given it’s the Rumble and that sells itself they can get away with more of an angle than a match.

yup. Exactly.

like I said above, I’m just curious how much further this goes beyond that.

bht it also proves how badly SD needs both Rhea ripley and Damien priest.

the whole roster lacks good faces

And no, Sasha is not a face.

or does Pierce put up a good fight and the Money in the Bank contract gets cashed?

im thinking it could be a story like the first jey uso match where it’s very one sided and about when Roman wants to end it.

the other 2 options are shinsuke or Kevin Owens one last time

Shin just feels like a patsy. He won't come back and say anything after being beaten in the gauntlet...it just doesn't feel like they have him built up like that right now.

Didn't include Sting because of said Technicality.

Wasn't a fan of Vader. He was known for being stiff in the ring

Maybe they just realized it made more sense to save him for the Rumble.

Is Vader really considered a FA after getting fired by WCW?

sounds like a he wasn’t fired

Idk why bischoff didn’t squash this story one way or another
Well he was let go because of his injury. But he didn’t have a chance in hell at getting hired back.

And I am guessing it was out because WCW guys were a lot more friendly to the magazines than the WWF guys and Vader wasn’t very popular in the locker room. In the whole of wrestling (modern times at least) there are renowned bullies and those are Vader and JBL and the stories of them getting their ass beat are out there almost instantly. I can’t imagine Vader or JBL type instances didn’t happen all the time.

Well that’s what a lot people on shoot videos say is that he was essentially bi polar in his attitudes. He would go from the nicest dude ever, to the Vader we saw in the ring. I listen to the Arn podcast and other shoots and they say he was the nicest guy they ever met in wrestling 50% of the time but the other 50% wish they were big or tough enough to do what Orndoff did.
