Cashing in on MITB is a little different situation imo

Seth was in a tag match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, he wasn’t in a grueling 30 minute 5 star match and then got destroyed by Brock. He wasn’t 100% fresh but he wasn’t gassed either.

But if Fox wants the title on Lesnar as they feel he's the biggest and most recognizable name then WWE will obviously do it. I'm sure WWE had very little say in the matter because just like when USA wanted Raw to go 3 hours and WWE having a 10 year deal with Saudi Arabia when someone is paying you big money they expect you to play ball with them on what they want at times.

That’s just who Brock is. Kofi may get his revenge one day like Seth did but for the new people watching giving them the Brock they remember was best. Kofi won’t be hurt by this in the eyes of the fans.

I can't stand to see Brock Lesnar as a world champion because he chooses to only show up when he wants to and I hated that they gave Lesnar the WWE Championship belt just like that last Friday but to say because of Kofi's skin color is too farfetched for me.

While the nature of pro wrestling is you can always recover from shitty moments like this with good story telling in the future, it doesn't change the fact that it'll still always be talked about. For example, Daniel Bryan has had great runs, is very popular, etc. But people still talk about how fucked up it was he jobbed out to Sheamus in 18 seconds. It's one of those unnecessary things that's just always gonna be there no matter how great a career goes. They could book Kofi perfectly from this day forward and years from now, people will remember the time they punked him out.
