I don't think that was the intention at all. This was more like the CM Punk promo where he calls out HHH for burying the locker room and not giving them the chance to succeed. Plus with Owens now a face and likely feuding with Shane next this seems like a big segue into that.

Different branches but it's part of the same tree. They essentially merged two things together they've done a few times already they couple of months. Miz and Roman have been doing essentially the same story with Shane for the last few months and now they're transitioning KO into that role. They tossed in the fan grievance thing that they've done in a more direct way in the past but instead used it as a way to turn KO face.

Announced another draft today during the football games on FOX. First part will take place on SD on Oct 11th with the 2nd half taking place the following Monday on Raw.

Supposedly WWE will be serious about the draft and the brand split, according to the top dirt sheets, and there will be very little to no crossover. But like always, we'll see how long they actually stick to their rules

It made too much sense having one world champ. Now there is not even a world champ, just raw champ and smack down champ, none considered a world title. I really think they are missing out on recognizing a world title.

Can they bring back the god damn war games with fall brawl? That was fantastic. And a good place to tell a great story each year. Or just bring it to survivor series for the raw/smack down showdown

I suppose they did have the trademark Bash when they bought WCW but they let it expire. Trademarks aren't permanent. You have to refile every so many years. As for War Games, they've done them in NXT the last two years. Look them up. The matches have been very entertaining

Fun fact (part 2): It was a mash-up of Beach Blast and the Great American Bash. Oddly enough, they brought back GAB the next year and still kept BATB.
