Well in the dark match last night it all but led up to a fight between the two. It just seems so weird that they'd allow all this angle to go on so long if there isn't a payoff. But you could be right because the Miz actually (to me) is very entertaining with the whole mocking of DB. He had the crowd eating out of their hands with the fatal 4 way and his dark match against Ambrose.

Yea Miz is definitely one of the brightest spots right now on the entire roster, and it really started with that rant on Bryan on talking smack.

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE is considering having a squash return match for Bryan vs the Miz (similar to the Rock at WM last year winning in 10 seconds or whatever it was). Would be cheesy, but would still get a big pop from the fans to see him suit up one more time.

Not really. Cena is off again to make more movies and film more TV shows (not Total Divas or Total Bellas), so why keep a title on him when he won't be on Smackdown again for a while. And WWE can also pitch this as Cena standing up for his fellow brother-in-law so to speak (Daniel Bryan) against Miz cause DB still isn't cleared to wrestle.

Cena's on a level (along with Taker, Goldberg, Brock) where he doesn't need to be in a title match at Mania to draw and get hype. Better to give the title match spot to guys who could use the elevated hype/press from being in the title picture.

Oh, I agree 100%. Like many, I just don't see why they needed to have Styles drop to Cena at RR. Styles could have dropped it at EC and they still could have the Cena/Miz match at WM no problem.

My guess is that they expected Bray to get a bigger pop from the crowd taking the title from Cena than from Styles. You don't wanna run the risk of a 'this is bullshit' chant if Styles loses the title, as it takes away from Bray winning it.
