Men's downhill - Eric Guay has been running pretty well lately.

I'm not generally a big figure skating fan, but Carolina Kostner's routine tonight was really beautiful.

Just watched it. I don't think there was any foul play, just inconsistent judging all over the place. Nobody seemed to know what the judges were looking for - even the winner. Knowing Parrot didn't medal I kept expecting him to fall in his final run, when I saw him stick it and only come fifth it was a bit of a wtf moment.

I know that these are judged events and creativity counts but it's the Olympics. Technical skill should take precedence over style.

When they talked to mcmorris he mentioned these judges werent from the xgames circuit or the world cup circuit

I'm just really amazed watching these guys. The height and length of the jumps is just completely insane. I go over a little 2 foot jump while skiing at 10 mph and get nervous (and often crash ). They are soaring the majority of a football field 5 stories in the air The skills they have are impressive. The balls they have are unreal.

I really enjoyed watching Mark McMorris' 2nd run today - the 1080 with a flip was pretty dope.

Also have to say I LOVE how these guys react afterwards. They were all hugging each other and happy. I think they all seem to really love the process and the creativity and the results are just gravy. It's cool to see and a good attitude to have.

I'm amazed Plushenko is still in the Olympics. I feel like I've been watching him in the Olympics for half my life.

Out of curiosity... who is the Canadian anchors for the broadcasts? Have they been doing it a long time?

I wish that cable would give us the option to watch other country's broadcasts. It would be cool to see, especially because Costas is distracting right now...
