Looks like Brad Jacobs has pulled his head out of his ass finally....huge win over Captain Loud Pants

Both Jacobs and Ryan Fry made some huge shots earlier today in their game against Norway. Next game against David Murdoch of Great Britian (that will be another stern test).

These people said that vents on back of the suit, designed to allow heat to escape, are allowing air to enter the suit and create drag that keeps the skaters from staying in the “low” position they need to achieve maximum speed.

and like fortythree said. they never tested this? why didnt they notice it leading up to the games its not like the games were about to start and under armour came and said hey we have new suits dont worry they good

Nice to see Kevin Reynolds have a fine skate earlier today - He won't get a medal, but he helped secure a silver medal for Canada in the team competition and he should be pleased with his effort today.

I would bet they tested it in a wind tunnel. Forgetting that whole "speed skaters move and stuff" component. I saw a feature on the ski team using wind tunnels too.

I am a horrible patriot. With the exception of the hockey players I can think of three other current US Olympians. (can you guess which three?) Edit - oops only two. One is an announcer now.

And while I am thinking about it, I dont think I will get up tomorrow to watch the game.
