And never won a single playoff game.
I realize that, but at least he made it to the playoffs, unlike Love.
And never won a single playoff game.
The Wolves certainly were no great roster, but were far from a 1 man show.
Did anyone think that last year they wouldn't be better then the Suns, for example?
Stats are great, but making other players around you is more important.
Kyrie falls into the same category.
Should be interesting if it happens.
This would be true of any good player.I think Love receives a bit too much criticism for having not made the playoffs yet. His teams haven't been that good and their in the tougher Western Conference. Pau Gasol never won a playoff game in Memphis. He gets traded to the Lakers and makes it to 3 straight Finals. Pair Love with the right teammate and things could be a lot different.
Really? How astute of you.
I don't think Love is as good as Gasol was. Love is more like a Pippen than a Jordan, he would make an awesome sidekick but is not really a lead dog.

First 6 seasons, Pau vs Love
First 6 seasons playoff record
Love: 0 - 0
Pau: 0 - 12
Both are small markets, but Gasol got his team in the playoffs. He didn't have much to work with in Memphis....compared to what Love had this last season.
I think he's a good player, but I think he may also be a little over-rated as well. He had talent with Pekovic and Martin, but they couldn't do much this past season.
Please try and keep up.
Martin is meh and pek isn't bad at all but it was pretty much love and Rubio
Pretty much all Love. Rubio is garbage.
He's an excellent passer, defender and rebounder for a PG, he's a triple double waiting to happen. The problem is he doesn't appeal to the average fan because he isn't a scorer. He's a pure PG who can run an offense.
